VR films competing at Anifilm 2025

This year’s VR competition at Anifilm will feature seven exceptional projects by both veteran VR authors and novice VR creators who are usually associated with classical animation. The representatives of the latter group are, among others, Boris Labbé, the creator of Ito Meykiu and a juror at Anifilm 2018. His VR debut won the Best XR project Award at the Venice International Film Festival; and Gwenael François, whose VR project Oto’s Planet (also awarded at Venice) will have its Czech premiere at Anifilm.
