WORKSHOPS FOR GAMES CREATORS

Anifilm, in cooperation with gaming experts, has prepared a series of workshops focused on key skills for games development. Under the tutelage of experienced instructors, participants will learn how to compose a portfolio for concept art, master the basics of storytelling in games and learn how to adapt storytelling to different media, find out how to turn ideas into viable projects and acquire practical experience with prototyping of digital games. Our workshops will offer practical individual work as well as collaboration in teams with the instructors.
Each workshop has a capacity of 20 participants.

Storytelling is a key element of games, films and other media. But what is the best way to approach it? In this workshop we will focus on the basic principles of storytelling (not just) in games, and we will try to adapt a story to different media.
Illustration vs concept art

What is the difference between illustration and concept art? And why is it not enough to know how to draw pretty pictures? In this workshop we will explain what a concept artist in a gaming studio does – what is their aim, what is the creative process and how is it different from making illustrations.
